*GREYWOODS DANCING SHADOWS (Wilkinson ’25) Tet Sev 32” EM-M 6” $125.00 SF A favorite of mine because of it’s lovely, changing broken patterns. The bloom is a light mauve cream with a variable eye of bluish mauve and shaped cream arrows (more prominent in the heat.) Lime green throat. The pattern hints of a changing play of light and shadows. Super pollen, some pods. 3 top branches, 18 buds [Whale Tails X (GW Shades of Lace X Screen Pattern)] SF ~~~~~
*GREYWOODS KATMANDUDE (Wilkinson ’25) Tet. Dor. 32” LM-La. 6.25” Re. 90.00 DF A bouncy later landscaper, this bloom is definitely a dude! Color is a deep mulberry violet with a plum center band, and a double rim of plum out to white-gold ruffles. Gold into a small green throat. Top 3 branches, 17 buds. Mostly fertile. A welcome late color that blooms into September here. [John Jacob X Zahadoom) X Deadliest Catch] ~~~~~
*GREYWOODS KINGSLEY (Wilkinson 25) Tet. Sev/ Dor. 31” EM-M 5.75” S/O “Kingsley” is an English name meaning from the King’s wood or meadow. This coral-rose red bloom, has a large vivid chartreuse center, surrounded by a faint chalky halo. Fancy yellow cream ruffles and teeth. Bright in the garden. 3 branches, 21 buds. Very fertile, with many scapes. [Greywoods Evenstride X (GW Evenstride X Wolverine)] SF ~~~~~
*GREYWOODS NONESUCH (Wilkinson 25) Tet. Dor. 32” LM-La. 6.5” 125.00 SF In the 1600s, Nonesuch signified a person or thing that was regarded as excellent or perfect. I’m not sure this plant is perfect, but the blooms are certainly lovely in the later garden. It’s a soft mauve pink with sometimes a blush of peach, and big yellow ruffles. Yellow into a green throat. Hints of a lighter midrib fades in the heat. Pretty into late August here. 3 branches, 18 buds. Fertile. [(Greywoods Dun Rovin’ X Donna Lynnes Delight) X GW Country Diva] SF ~~~~~
*GREYWOODS LYRICAL LADY (Wilkinson 25) Tet. Dor. 35” EM-M 6.5” S/O Definitely a tall ‘Fashionista’! Base color is a soft creamy buff, with a large vivid violet mauve eye pattern, and a large chartreuse center. Husky scapes that stand out in the garden. *GREYWOODS PRIM and TRIM (Wilkinson 25) Tet. Sev. 30” EM-M 8.5” UF S/O I love all the skinnies, and this star shaped UF was a favorite in ’23, and again last season. Petals are a medium lavender mauve with a multi slate cream halo into a large vivid chartreuse center. A tidy sophisticated bloom that is perfect to cross with spiders for patterns. 3 top branches, 16 buds. Fertile [(Turquoise Temple X Pictoral Picotee) X Shadow Walker] SF ~~~~~
*GREYWOODS SOCIAL TREND (Wilkinson 25) Dor. 30” M-LM 5.75” S/O Teeth and frilled, jagged edges are in style now, and this flower doesn’t disappoint. From Curt's wonderful Liar's Poker, it's a plum red-violet bloom with a slate, creamy violet halo, that runs out to a snowy ruffled, toothy border. Wonderful in the later garden and very fertile. Let it clump. Long blooming into early September. 3 branches, 16 buds. Many scapes. [(Evenstride X Liar’s Poker) X Larry’s Twilight Bite] SF
