CHAMBERMAIDENS [Curt Turner-2010] Dor. Dip 43" EM 3-3/4" Fertile both ways. As I don’t fertilize or water, true northern branching (4-way) and bud count (18). Complete medium-yellow self from throat to tepal tip distinguished by a broad medium-brown vertical stripe running nearly the outside length of each sepal. When fully open, these stripes create the illusion of reverse bicoloration. Fully budded, Chambermaidens displays an unusually attractive bicolor demarcation beginning with green at the base and followed upwardly by brown until it ends with a touch of green again at the tip. Fertile both ways, its smooth-edged upturned flowers are well-spaced and, even in clump strength, are held uncrowdedly above medium-green foliage.
Drawing strongly favorable garden-visitor comments, including tetraploid aficionados, Chambermaidens presents itself cleanly as a standout landscape specimen. [(Seedling x Unknown) X (Tom Collins x Toy Trumpets) $18.00 Clump ***Please Order This Plant Directly from GWF ***
